MASAR
“MASAR” means “path” or “trajectory” in Arabic, and Hedayah’s MASAR resources help steer designers of P/CVE projects on the right “path” to achieving measurable outcomes and projecting the impact in terms of reducing radicalization and recruitment to violent extremism.
MASAR is Hedayah’s suite of resources to support Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) in the counter extremism sector.
This includes training activities to support national governments and civil society in monitoring, evaluation and learning related to their National Action Plans and Strategies, or related implementation. MASAR also includes resources that provide guidance on how to develop and implement Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL), through publications such as Hedayah’s Evaluate Your CVE Results (updated publication forthcoming – June 2026).
