In February 2015, the Government of Japan decided to contribute about 15.5 million USD for CT capacity-building in the Middle East and Africa region through the UNODC and other international organizations. In addition, Japan has been conducting 7 projects for CVE by utilizing Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) since 2011.
