A tailor-made program to support re-integration of radicalized persons (see below) in the society and their disengagement from terrorist or violent extremist networks when they are doubting leaving it. After an intake and a risk assessment a plan of action is made, which might involve practical assistance (housing, work, education), psychological help, religious counselling, resistance building, anger management etc. A pool of specialists is formed who can play a role in this disengagement and reintegration process. A case manager from “Exits” will coordinate the implementation of the plan of action. Different specialists are involved in the process.

This is intended for radicalized persons who:

  • are and will stay in the Netherlands;
  • are planning to fight abroad;
  • have returned after fighting abroad.
